Applied for Telkom ADSL - now what?

Hey Guys,

I applied for a 1mbps Telkom ADSL line and internet yesterday over the phone. There is already a connection in my apartment, so there is no need for installation. They said the 1mbps package consists of a WiFi router and free evening calls to Telkom landlines.

I got a SMS yesterday saying 'Welcome to Telkom Internet, your account is now active'... It gave me my username and password, but that's it - no explanation or anything.

I just want to know the process involved from those that went through the same.

Do they just activate the ADSL line from there side and deliver the router, or do I have to wait for a Telkom technician to come round?

i think you need to go to www.telkom.co.za/verifyadsl some link like that
