Definitely something wrong then. I'm using svideo as well, definitely not as clear as lcd, but even text is good enough for me to read.

s-video works fine, I occasionally output MAME to my 72cm crt via s-video.

Do some cad drawings, have the wood cut and have some woodwork place assemble it for you if you cant.

Yip - its almost complete - I"m not happy with the TV in there atm as the picture is crappy and need to replace it with a LCD screen. So might sell it w/o with screen, or I would add in the LCD and sell it as I will def get more. Unless you make me an offer I can't refuse

What's wrong with the TV image? How do you interface to the tv?

I prefer the images of CRTs as opposed to LCDs.

Hi guys,

Sorry to chip in here. Was wondering if anyone of you would be able to build a custom controller which can act like a replica for a "hitBox" controller.

Costs about R1300, don't know what the import costs would equate to, but would it be possible for someone to build something similar for less without the need for me to import it from the US ?

How much would you be willing to let the cabinet go for? Just the cabinet and control panel. I already have a PC to use in it, and I'm looking into getting an old CRT Screen to go in there. Just to help keep the original look of arcade cabs.
Also, what controls did you use? Are they 4 way, 8 way, analog?
