Are all Rogues whiny bitches?

I am not sure how 1 talent made it AoE tanking, but I can tell you from experience that one talent is not always enough to keep all the mobs on me. Unless you believe I must be a serious noob. Being newly geared playing with ToC 10/25 geared dps in heroics is no easy thing in my opinion. I find myself using Shockwave only to get the mobs to stand still for a few seconds while I cycle through them and apply threat.

I am sure gear makes a difference, but I don't see how it made warrior tanking any less fun. At least not for me yet. I love charging in though, still my favorite ability on a warrior.

rogues are whiny bitches, but not without reason.

-vanish is broken
-feinting bladestorms does nothing
-a different race rogue is waaaaaaaay op compared to another race (humans vs. any other), much like priests were.
-their most entertaining tree is worth **** atm.
-cloak of skill tooltip says its 90%, i've seen a rogue get blown up through cloak more then i have seen not being blown up.

So ye if i had a rogue i'd be a whiny bitch too.

Also, tanking was more fun in previous expansions because one had to use cc on trash. Tanking bosses is still the same boring BS.

Hah. No. Rogues do not need buffs or 'fixes'. Rogues are only whiny because they can't faceroll stunlock-kill everything in 3 hits any more.

I agree with this.

Plus rogues actually got buffed recently with patch 3.3, the deadly poison change has made a huge impact on both the pve and pvp aspects of the game.

Maybe I was a bit harsh about it, but I just didnt like the changes to the class. Guess it was time for me to change to another class :)

Fav tanking class is still the warrior.

I just started a Rogue, sitting at 56, I like the PvP aspect of him, its fun having played all the other classes. Rogue are not that bad ^_^

We have 1 rogue in our guild who will always be in the top 3 dps. Its usually hunter or rogue who tops our dps. Locks, myself included never seem to be top though. Some fights we get to number 2 spot, when the crits come in and we manage to hit the spot with trinkets. Somehow, I usually manage to activate my trinket a split second before I get silenced or hit by some special ability. Melee dps and hunters seem less affected by boss abilities than mage/lock spells. We recently lost a mage who was always up there too, so now mages dont really feature, but that will change as the newbies gear up and learn more.

Lots of fights that benefit ranged dps, for example: Marrowgar - melee have to run back after bonestorm therefore loosing dps; Deathwhisper - phase 1 benefits ranged; Gunship - whatever :); Saurfang - melee benefits but the hard work is done by ranged.

Arms/Fury warrior can be just as good as ranged on Marrowgar. Charge/Intercept/Intervene I can see being really useful. Otherwise, yeah, I wouldnt want to be a rogue or something on that fight. Spend half the time running from spike to spike dodging blue flames, can't be much fun.
