Are people really this clueless?

Do you lick your armpits?

Na I just sprayed some in my mouth...

On topic. I totally subscribe to the thinking that there is a sexuality scale ranging from 1 being completely straight and 10 being completely gay. There is a spectrum of sexuality in between.

Dunno, I don't buy that. You are either straight, homo or bi. A lot of people are not comfortable with their sexuality. Some okes just wanna donner moffies, those are the okes you should look out for. The okes that don't have issues know who they are.

I don't reckon it's so black and white.

The kinsey scale is archaic and no longer valid for the current climes.

Well ponder...I think it has changed a lot over the last few years.
From my experiences it seems that concepts of straight, gay and bi have changed to the point where they have become situational.
Straight is no longer straight when the situation is right.
I have stopped concerning myself with the preconcieved notions of gay, bi or straight and more concerned as to whether the other person is interested or not.

I am not so sure. I do think it is still relevant...although you wont go up to a person you are interested in and ask "So you sexy hunk of meat you....where do you fall on the Kinsey scale?" :p

But I do believe you get people that that are 100% gay, and others that are 100% straight...and the others that fall somewhere in between. But what you said to ponder is also very true. I do think we are slowly but surely moving into a new era where the lines are getting very blurred and many people dont define themselves as being either gay, straight or bi. They just enjoy people in general...no matther what sex they are. If you are hot you are hot and that is that I guess. :)

Obviously there are some touchy-feely types out there with an entitlement attitude, but a few okes have backed me up in this thread, so I know I'm not alone in my loathing of them. I'll be on the lookout for that spiked jacket.
Good luck with that. Unless you're actually being sexually groped, and for a man that's going to be limited to very specific groping, it would go nowhere, at best wasting police time on your phobia, and if it should somehow, bizarrely, make it to court it would be a monumental waste of the court's time.

I take the actions you describe in the spirit in which they're intended rather than trying to ascribe malicious intent.

Whatever you do though don't ever go to places like Spain, France, Greece and Italy. You'll probably have a heart attack.

From the rear.... well that will get you a snot klap!!
And hopefully get you one back. Or an assault charge.

When I used to work at a book store I had a couple of gay guys try and pick me up, and it never really phased me. I just took it as a compliment that a gay guy thought I was hot :P

In regards to a warm friendly touch from a dude, seriously guy, get over it. I'm pretty small and one of my mates is big and when he sees I'm a bit bleak I'll get a sideways hug and on my birthday he gave me a bear hug and nearly squashed me. There's a very obvious difference when a friend is just looking for a hug and when a gay guy is trying to get a piece of ass.

So my right to be left alone means nothing? Just because you find it okay to paw people uninvited, the rest of us must just "deal with it"? And then you cry assault when someone who doesn't like your groping defends themself. Real fair.

I've never been to Spain, Greece or Italy, but I survived France. No-one tried to put their arm around me once. Seems like they start hugging when they know the person will appreciate it, like friends and family, not strangers.

Gay okes get the hint and stop. "Straight" okes don't get the hint, until your fist meets their face, then they wonder why you hit them.
