Are relationships fun?

Really.... And again ladies and gentleman, a prime example of what it means to take responsibility

Well he is kinda right though. I have friends who used to be a couple but they broke up last year. She said he treated her like gold and was the perfect boyfriend but she left because she got bored with him. They where together for years.

Fair game, but it's not the one and only reason for partners whose attentions begin to wander. The single mindedness is what gets to me. There are an infinite amount of explanations to each situation. To fail to even acknowledge the existence oof those options is... well, singleminded :p

Yes there can be lots of reasons. But I think Dolby was speaking from a personal experience of his, not stating it as the norm.

Yup.

She got bored and wanted more. Argh **** happens. She's probably happy anyway, which is cool

er... the same ex who phones / emails / sms's you every day asking (pretty pathetically i might add) to be a part of your life? this same ex who has been basically hounding you ?

Lol. Wow. I'm not your biggest fan, this you know, but I am blown away at how you can play the vitcim in this one.

The situation I was refering to? The same relationship. Different side of that same coin.

Clarity my friendly friend is a real bitch.

You don't know my ex very well ... leave it at that

Leave it at that huhv? Sounds like an order to me. How....forceful of you.

And Dolby, the thing that finally destroyed your relationship was the above mindset. That you know better than even she knows herself. How could she possibly show you who she is if you took every act that didn't fit your preconceived template and labelled it either a lie or a manipulation.

She didn't lose interest and wander Dolby. she gave up because being told on a daily basis that she didn't even have the capacity to love eventually pushed her to believe it.you knew she was different from day one and you used that as a weapon against her. A tool to prove your point.

You both screwed up. Have you taken on your part?

Dolby's psychiatrist?

I think that relationships should have their fun times and their serious times. I think it all depends on the stage that the raltionship is at at that stage.

Revised opinion:

Love is horrible. Relationships are love with the added complexities of the moral inadequacies of the humans involved. Distaster is spelt D I S etc etc

It's emo day. Had you noticed.

Relationships can be compared to martial arts. They take a lot of work to make them fun. Without the work, why bother?

Emotions are illogical. If they were logical we'd call them thoughts.
