Are we at "War" in SA?

It isn't a war just because a lot of people are involved. It's very important we understand which situations require military intervention and which situations require police action. There is certainly legislation which favours race groups, and there is certainly animosity between race groups, but much less so than during the 70s-80s and even then we weren't in a war situation.

You are too eager to draw parallels. Things can be in a bad state without being a warzone.

OK, I asked you which groups you are referring to. Currently, the vast majority of management and skilled positions in SA are held by white males.
The government is not trying to create a situation where one group dominates other groups (as is currently the case, with management positions being dominated by white males) it is trying to create a relationship of fundamental equality (where white men no longer dominate). It's the exact opposite of what you're claiming.
Whether or not they are going about it the right way is debatable, I agree. The ANC is not at war against a certain minority group (who economically, are the majority - in that they hold the majority of the wealth), they are trying to create space for others in the workplace.

If this in South Africa is in fact war, then surely the US has too ongoing civil wars?
