I concur, he does whine a lot
Ha ha ha ha.... there we go, like I said!
Dude, this thread was not about me. It was about the negativity in this country. A number of us were having fairly decent discussions in here. Yes, it got heated. Yes, it got a little insulting. But they were reasonable discussions. Then you have individuals that come on here after the fact and say things about certain individuals whining without adding anything to the actual topic. Those people are the true chops!
The reason ppl post negative stuff on the forum is of the same reason the editor writes negative stuff in the newspaper, the editor will look at recent events that people feel strongly about and focus on it,the views expressed on the forum is what most of the readers of that article is feeling.
A good response that involved some thinking. Thank you.
I agree with you but as the editor stated, which was the point, why are people so quick to condemn anyone who shares any good news. It will always be written off with comments like "oh wait and see" or "it won't take long for them to screw that up" or whatever.
Also those bad news threads will get hundreds of responses and views yet the good news ones will die a quick death. As stated in the article "are we intoxicated by the whine". Does it make some people feel superior to constantly moan about what they are doing, and saying things about how typical it is of them. We are all South Africans. There should be no us, we, them, they if we truly want this to be a united country. People who say these things clearly have no desire to see unity.

Personally I think the moan because we care.
ah killa, you're not a bad dude okei think we keep misinterpreting each other on these forums, because i know for certain that you and Lance would get angry at the same things and that you're both decent guys. it's probably just different things that make us angry, like perhaps you get angry at the people messing up the country and Lance gets upset at the people sitting back and doing nothing, and i think you can both agree that both of these causes are to blame.
it's sad watching two guys that i like argue with insults. i just want you to both know i think you're both ace guys![]()
Haha thanx dude, damn have some serious catching up to do, had a heavy day. Very true words though
Ya BBSA of course we care about this country!!!!!! that is why so many are unhappy and angry because we love this place and do not want to be another african stat.
...only the black ones.
Nothing wrong with being positive, when that positivity starts turning into saying crime is not as bad as people say then ya it becomes bad.
Everyone deals with things different as well, i am a realistic. So i call it how i see it and cannot BS myself, other people would rather look at the positive side of this country. Not sure where they get their inspiration but ya the world cup is coming!!!!!!![]()
Obviously "Happily lost in the South Pacific" means that you no longer live in SA, right?
If that is the case, what is your interest in a South African board?
