We had a pre-Easter getaway (3 nights in Dbn). I am so glad that we are back home. I missed my comfy bed  and proper coffee :coffee: . Visited Spur at Shaka Marine and also took a walk around the Marine. Not exciting. The place used be cleaner, without amaparas and weed smokers (beach side). Security is useless. Nonetheless, it was kinda nice to be away from home.

WTF is going with Spur restaurants? We visited 3 spurs in the last week and the same things come up (dirty cutlery, dirty plates, dirty floors and sticky tables)

You get a proper "Taste for life" experience in any Durban Spur now. Free e-coli samples on every plate.

I think all the tables are sticky no matter which one you go to

Jussus I hear that.

The last Spur I went to was smelly, the cutlery was sticky, the table and chairs were sticky with tomato sauce and god knows what white liquid... and the kids made a huge ruckus in that playpen thingy. Their prices also were a bit high for a simple sandwich and coffee.

No, too many tourists this time of the year

So you went to Spur, which is probably excusable assuming you have kids, and it was disgusting... so you decided to go again... and then again after that?

He's a sucker for punishment it seems.

No vacation for contractors, we worked till early morning. But my wife made it special for our family. I am the luckiest man alive. She is just awesome. We really had a lovely weekend.

Yep. All the pain because of kids, SO and the reward points.
