This is true but as was mentioned earlier we have to start somewhere.

One of the posts asks where we'd be today if black people were defeatist about apartheid. That post swung me.

Who would have imagined that the "terrorist" Mandela would one day become President of the country in which he'd been incarcerated?

We have to try.

The protest haven't even occurred, so we won't know whether it will work or not, right? What can you lose? By not raising your voice, you in fact say that all is just ok! Thus a tick against your name as "Agree with government".

Why do their protests work? Maybe because they all march "together". 90% not even knowing why, but they will participate!

If all taxpayers start saying "This is enough", perhaps we can get somewhere... And yes, there are ways.

But start somewhere.

No it just happens on these forums, where 80% of the posts are insults, 19% are veiled insults, and 1% are posts by women (who are generally the nicest members on here).
 
For the DA's Johannesburg March, the closest I could get Google Maps to create the route was this: click here

What do y'all think, is that about right? Straight from Anderson Street, down Miriam Makeba and into Mary Fitzgerald Square? It's less than 2KM, so that's a positive. The other alternative is a march along the M1 somehow, but that seems a wee bit risky.

PS: If anybody knows a good secure parking spot along there please let me know :)
