Are you really a gamer ?

There was an awesome bug in that game I discovered.. if you use the Formula 1 car (I think it was) and made a straight track, from one end of map to the other and drove as fast as you can, there's a certain speed that, once hit, and you keep your finger down on the acceleration key, you will not slow down on grass and other terrain...

We used this to ramp from one end of the map to the other off hills and stuff. It was legendary fun for the time.

*sigh*

We've got a bunch of old PCs lying around at work, I think I'm going to grab a P1 200MMX for oldschool games and demoscene stuff.

lol, im rather a newbie to games, and i've played most of those games mentioned. so what does that make me? i gamer or just about a gamer wanna be, to tell you the true, a gamer is someone that loves to play games, a person who just plays them for the fun, enjoyment and that goes to lans ;)
i think old games are great, but the new games are getting ever more intensive/interesting as you play.

ok, me and first person shooters aint the best of i want to follow the story line coz like in fear the game, i would just walk into a room and shoot every thing that moves, and for that i don't actually catch the story line well.

Unfortunately, I think a generation of gamers is being raised without appreciation of it's history and where it's come from. They take gaming for granted and want the latest and greatest with no appreciation for older games.

It's called XBLA and it rules ;)

Yes, whipper snappers may never play Donkry Kong in it's original format, but the important thing was the mechanics/gameplay. Developers now have the opportunity to revisit those simple games and fill in the bits that were missing.

PS. Rally-X sucks a$$. No one should have to play that game. Ever!
 
If you are familiar with the games and concoles of Lord Sapceman's list, it does not make you a real gamer, just a knowledgable one. It means you've played loads of games, either over many years, or recently (but then you did not complete them).
