Ok, so to all the people here who are upset or sad about being single, let me make a few points...
You're free....
Yeah, but. You have no-one to hug. You have no-one to share pizza with. You have no-one to come to who'll make you feel better when you've had a crappy day. You have no "us". You have no-one to share chores with.
Yes, there are good pointsAnd it does slightly worry me that I'm getting too used to all those good points, and that I'll have trouble adjusting when (if) I finally do find someone... but having someone is still way better than not.
I'm married with a 4 month old baby. It's great, we're very happy. We complement each other well. Those who rant on about how great it is to be single have probably never been in a healthy relationship.
I wouldn't say my relationship was healthy - but I must admit that when it was healthy, it was amazing.
I'm a relationship person. I need the friendship, companionship and everything else that comes with a relationship. I need someone to share my little events with - someone to SMS when I'm alone or feeling crap.
