ARM reveals 64-bit processors for future tech

This is cool, can't wait to see how this pans out. Question is how will the adoption be. Remember the first time 64bit CPU's game out that the uptake was a bit slow. I'm sure it should be faster now that there is a bit more experience with developers and designers that have used 64bit apps already.

If a smartphone can have 8gb of ram and a multicore 64bit processor, we might just see the pad phone concept expand to desktop home machines, replacing allinone desktops

And where will that leave Intel? Can they keep up?

I think the biggest reason for that was price.

Are you being serious?

Well he may have unknowingly raised a semi-valid point. How many mobile apps do we have that needs the memory capabilities of 64bit?
