Think it was R5k or something. Mind you he got arrested and had to go to court. But still, no jail time or anything.

Hope you rot in jail. its because of drunk drivers like you we loose innocent people. clearly you were over the limit. Go to jail. go directly to jail, do not pass begin do not collect R200
I guess if the point was to teach people a lesson then I learnt mine, now I know everyone says this but I really wasn't drunk anymore, it was just in my system, and I pulled of decently from a GREEN robot, as I got over the intersection..BOOM! TERROR!
Well keep them caged then.

You should have left R500 on the dashboard of your car and ask the law enforcement office to keep an eye on it whilst you go for a pee....

You know, a friend of mine's father got pulled over and almost arrested, he was over the limit. He has a beer and two glasses of red wine with his three course meal at a restaurant, in a period of a little more than two hours. I guess he must have been pretty wasted, hey? Not being able to tell, as you put it, left from right or green from red?

he should stay at home and drink we have lmits for a reason. If he wants to disobey the law then he should face the wrath of the metro police

It is apparent that you are not following. NOBODY becomes a raging drunkard from a beer and two glasses of red, consumed with a 3 course meal over a bit more than two hours.

Rules are there for a reason, Follow them. Some people get drunk with a single beer. Different tolerences so we have a blanket rule. They should all rot in jail. Murderers and rapists should be shot in the head

Whatever you believe, the law is the law, and I have just been slapped by its long arm, I feel I was in the wrong place at the wrong time, I have learnt my lesson but out of fear of being arrested again and not out of respect for the law because I wasn't drunk, my mind was clear. I was thinking that if garlic stays in your system for days even though you have digested, is it not possible that a breathaliser can pick up remnants of alcohol long after the effects have worn off?

More expensive than calling any regular taxi service.
They do drive your car home for you I guess, but why drive if you plan on drinking?
LOL! I gotta tell ya there was a guy from Good Fellars there who was arrested for drinking and driving. He was off duty but was in his uniform.
