Arrested for drinking and driving

I just slept in my car if i was drinking. At one stage i even had a change of clothes and a blow up matress in the boot for just-in-case alcohol fell into my stomach. Now i dont drink at all if im driving.
 
A mate of mine was pulled over while driving under the influence. He ended up spending 8 weeks in a drug addiction support group, 1 session a week...judges orders. The whole ordeal, court and all cost him just under R30k. And a lot of his time.
 
Just to confirm in 2022. If you are arrested that won't appear on your criminal record but rather if you are convicted in court or pay the fine aka admission of guilt?

That is quite the necro. But yes I would imagine that you only get the record once your guilt is confirmed as happens with any other crime. Some people do check for arrests though.

How do you do fact check for arrests? and why would (I would assume) employees check that when you are ALWAYS innocent until proven guilty.

That will fast track the new speed laws to be 80KM/h on highways.

Cause smoke inhalation, sorry, drinking and driving seems to be NOT the problem.

No problem smokers going to be cruising at 40km/h maybe that's why they want to adjust the speeds so the rest of the country can sync with all the stoners LOL

A potential employer once asked me if I had ever been arrested as part of background checks. Those MIE checks.

What is a MIE check?
I thought that unless you had a dodgy connection who can check the Police database there is no way to check a persons arrest history?

I said they ask (as part of their background checks). I didn't suggest they can find out if you have ever been arrested because I don't know what they can do that. You droogs need to learn to read.
