Article: 2011 a blue year: Zille

I agree.

I really don't see why people are still voting for the ANC. What have they done for the last decade? We read about corrupt ANC people on almost a daily basis, but yet the people still vote for them? With the DA, you'd have a hard time finding any negative news about them. And when there is, it normally turns out it's the ANC that's behind it.

However, if Zille were black, based on your analogy, she still would not be president. Why would people suddenly vote a black Zille if same people are voting a corrupt party?

She would get more votes from black people though. The black middle class is growing and a lot of them don't fall for the ANC's BS promises. At the moment there is no alternative and the DA are getting more votes. No alternative unless you count the party that shall not be named :p

Remember that you have to buy licenses to put posters on lamp poles.
And if they City of Ekurhuleni wants to be difficult they can be. Even just a normal poster for a nightclub they sometimes get all strung up about.

The DA City of Cape town is exactly the same.

Ran into Helen Zille at the Nan Hua Temple last Sunday for the Chinese New Year's Cultural Festival.

She's amazing. She spoke at the Temple opening, and I loved her speech. She just keeps going. She works hard. She makes such an effort.

Best of all, she didn't bother with a huge motorcade or bodyguards. She was just there. She participated. She greeted me and smiled for my photos.

Definitely voting DA anywhere and everywhere I can.

Surely one would vote for a party based on their policies and their track record nad not on how nice their leaders are ... ?

Interesting. Judging by some of the opinions on this forum, quite a few people here would disagree with her?

No sox. Most people would agree that the period post 1994 brought a lot of freedoms to people.

The ANC regime, however, has made no real structural changes since that time and corruption seems at al all time high and delivery at an all time low.

Educate the masses to vote more judiciously.

How? All the ANC does is to promise houses and jobs to everyone. After more than a decade, those people, who still doesn't have jobs or houses, still believe the ANC. If they're that stupid, it doesn't matter what you tell them, they'll always vote for the ANC.
