Article: 4 Olympic medals for SA realistic: scientist

South Africa has a realistic chance of winning four medals at this year's London Olympic Games, sports scientist Ross Tucker said on Friday.

"I think four medals is the realistic target, and I can cannot see 12 coming out of this squad at the moment," he told reporters in Newlands, Cape Town.
 
That would be a poor return considering our past performances.
 
I tend to agree with the figure of 4...

I think 12 is being WAY overly optimistic.
 
watch this space when i say chad le clos will medal. that's all i'm saying.

And they're now flipping the bird to all American viewers and athletes by flaunting the NHS in the ceremony. This is beyond bizarre...

I was also a bit taken aback by them showcasing the NHS...was not sure what it has to do with the Olympics...but then I remembered the NHS was established right after WW2....and it is something a lot of Brits take pride in...and rightfully so I guess.
