The ruling party has disbanded the ANC Youth League, according to reports on Monday.

Business Day newspaper and SABC radio news quoted unnamed sources as saying the decision was made at the African National Congress' national executive committee meeting at the weekend.

The Mail & Guardian has reported that the ANC NEC has disbanded its youth wing NEC.

They are talking about the NEC, ie the National Executive Committee, not the League itself.
