Article: ANCYL to discuss hate speech ruling

Some one should tell the idiot that the Bees case there were no judge that made a ruling , the parties decided on the plea.
Malema said this case, the five-year partially suspended drunken driving sentence for former Ekurhuleni metro police chief Robert McBride and the R750 000 fine for rugby player Bees Roux for killing a metro policeman, was proof the judiciary was not transformed and protected minorities
Lets see how our weakest link reacts to the idiots rantings

Last week's editorial of the SA Jewish Report expresses the opinion that Judge Lamont's ruling is wrong, that while singing the song is in poor taste and the ANC ought to show better leadership, the song should not be banned because it infringes on freedom of speech. See p.8 for the editorial:

“Dubul’ ibhunu” is undoubtedly a malevolent song. But should it be banned? Did the judge go too far, paving the way towards a whole string of possible new bannings, including cutting-edge political satire and journalism which might be “hurtful” to some people?

I find this ironic considering how sensitive the Jewish community are to real and imagined antisemitism. Imagine their reaction if somebody had sung "Shoot the Jew".
