Article: Anti-Indian pamphlets distributed in KZN

A black business organisation, The Mazibuye African Forum, has distributed pamphlets in KwaZulu-Natal complaining about the involvement of Indians in the province's economy, City Press reported on Sunday.

"If the ANC does not address this issue, a civil war could break out in KwaZulu-Natal because people are very angry," the forum's founder Zweli Sangweni told the newspaper.

the opportunities are there for all, if a certain segment of the population is too lazy to go for it then dont blame those that take the risk.

Also saw on a poster this morning 'no mire tenders for Indians'.

i believe the zulu people ran amok once before in durban attacking indian owned businesses.

the somali's and others currently suffer the same under the banner of xenophobia
 
The White, Indian and Coloured race groups are by far the minority in Durban. The opportunity is free for all and their are plenty of black businessman in Durban.

To be fair Senzo Mchunu has come out and stated that such individuals are racist and are not welcome in the ANC.

Well, to be fair .. it's exactly what Zuma's been doing since he took over.
 
All they're proving is that they have no idea of how to compete. You can't tell me that these so called businessmen can't raise capital in order to build competitive businesses. It's simple guys, you undercut the other guy and offer better service.

The prevalent model for wealth creation is SA seems to have become: acquire a monopoly, deliver as little as possible and charge as much as possible. I think this might be why so called business men think they need help. It would also explain the Xenophobia towards foreign small shop owners.

Really the Indians? Or, some friends who are Indians? This is how generalisations lead to bigotry and racism.
 
The Indians must be pretty good business people. Terrible thing to be persecuted for being good at business. If you want something in life you have to work for it. Pity this is a foreign concept to many in South Africa.

This, there a quite a few of them that are highly connected within the ANC. I'm sure there are the normal shenanigans going on but blaming the indians for this and not the anc is just stoopid.

That are bloody good at business. I for one haven't seen an indian beggar in the streets yet. I have seens tons of coloured whites and blacks
