Never sullied my memory of it by watching it in 2D. That film was made for 3D and 3D only. An immersive experience, I hope this one is just as good in it's 3D imagery.

I rewatched Avatar some time ago, and it wasn't as good as I remembered. I am talking about story here. I don’t think that it aged too well. I hope that Avatar 2 is reinvigorating.

Avatar and now the sequel seems to actually want create a proper immersive experience.
