Yes he could've handled the situation better, but what did she expect will happen if she doesnt give him a chance to debate about something? and saying that his perspective on his history is narrow, honestly and the host just sits there. its not only his error but all of them.
 
I agree with Xaxasthoc...

shouldn't have stormed out... but I love the way the host finally gets involved and then starts his *** about why you threating the lady... he was not threating her just told her it's not over... and her with her what have you done for the poor blacks comment... she should of had a mirror in front of her when she said that.
 
E-tv is known for doing things like this .... I've seen it before. They goad someone who is obviously on their shyte-list and see if they can provoke. Most times they do and E-tv loves it because it's sensationalist.

I respectfully disagree if the roles where reversed as in a black person outnumbered and harassed it would still be wrong, but in the hosts defense the AWB dude had to know what was gonna happen on a show like that he didn't have a chance to begin with

I don't think he was sticking up for anyone... You sound like the woman on the show - because the AWB guy talks about his culture, she assumes he hates poor blacks. If anyone has a problem with the poor in SA, it's the ones they voted in to see to their needs. They have enormous power and funding to deal with the plight of the poor. Instead it seems they spend their efforts singing 'kill the boer' among other things to detract from their failure to deliver what they promised.

Of course most of us knew they couldn't deliver from the start, not because we thought the worst of them, but because it was an obvious impossibility. For them, the promises had the desired effect. I say it's time to get back to the delivery discussion - it affects us all far more.

Haven't seen this particular incident yet... but I have seen plenty of other interviews where the guest was rail-roaded by the interviewer. Bad form e-tv.
 
I got rid of Multichoice because they are a rip off. I stopped watching SABC news when it became biased. Now ETV is becoming the local rag and it's time to turf my TV altogether methinks. A regular screen and media center will do me fine.

Stopped watching TV a while ago. I check it from time to time in the morning lately because my radio isn't picking up AM for some reason. Only reason I have a telly is because I love films and my PS3 ;)
