Article: AWB Secretary General storms off TV interview

Hahhaaaa AWB is finished. Not like the old days Vis , where if you didn’t like something lock them up or say they inferior. If you in politics now you have to deal with things in a proper manner. Shocking but I don’t expect much more coming from the AWB, illiterate inbreeds. Hahahaaa I loved it, did you see how pink he got??

BTW what was up with that bodyguard? The host could of pooped and he would of been blown away.............

I don't think he was sticking up for anyone... You sound like the woman on the show - because the AWB guy talks about his culture, she assumes he hates poor blacks. If anyone has a problem with the poor in SA, it's the ones they voted in to see to their needs. They have enormous power and funding to deal with the plight of the poor. Instead it seems they spend their efforts singing 'kill the boer' among other things to detract from their failure to deliver what they promised.

Of course most of us knew they couldn't deliver from the start, not because we thought the worst of them, but because it was an obvious impossibility. For them, the promises had the desired effect. I say it's time to get back to the delivery discussion - it affects us all far more.

Remember when Deb Patta crapped all over Julius. He never for one second threatened and intimidated her.

there is a point; he was interrupted without being able to finish his sentence. in a debate both parties should be allowed to have question -> response -> question -> response without rudely being repetitively interrupted. if doesn't work this way there is no point anyways.

No, he said what came to mind - nothing. You know, hitler didn't do alot of things... doesn't make me respect him more. Sometimes its the things that people do that let them down... not what they don't do.

Now if Julius didn't spend his time shifting focus from lack of delivery by the ruling party to 'kill the boer', he may be useful to the 'poor africans' living here as the woman in the show called them. Instead, he keeps reminding everyone of the old days - one would swear he misses them... perhaps the lack of responsibility made it easier to live with yourself back then... blame someone else for the state of the country.

Yes and if they interupt me I will hop around and cry like a baby and have a hissy fit because I CANT DO ANYTHING ELSE!!

I cannot believe some of you are trying to make what he did o.k.

Ha, illiterate inbreeds. Hahahaaa I loved it, did you see how pink he got??............

Do you know how many millions of real illiterate inbreeds exists in this country, many millions more that a few thousand AWB members and none of those illiterates inbreeds actually knows who their real father was/is.

No, I think most of us are pointing out that there were two sides to that comedy... poor behaviour on both sides...
What did you think of the ETV guy getting aggressive with his finger and shouting while the AWB representative just stood there doing nothing. I thought he wasn't going to end. For a minute I thought he could see something we couldn't, but it was obvious he wanted a story that wasn't there.

They were all a bunch of nanas at the end of the day. Very funny indeed. It was worth a laugh at least.

what i said was correct, but he should have stopped and asked her to shut the **** up and while he finished without going all ape****. that would have been the proper way...

About ETV's part in this...

I think if someone took the time to add subtitles, the plot will be more clear... for example - here is the conversation after Visage gets up and walks to the other side of the table:

Visage (looking at woman): I am not finished with you!
ETV man (leaning over and pointing finger agressively): Mr Visagie, stop threatening this woman! Mr Visagie! I'm telling you, stop it now! Just stop it now!
Visage (to ETV man): I won't stop it, it's you who's trying to stop me.
ETV man: Mr Visagie, why are you threatening this poor woman? What has she done to you? She is expressing her views.
Visage: She is talking about the capatilist whites - why do you think that she is poor?
Some random guy: "Sorry, call security please - immediately"

That's not to mention the finger pointing and 'touch me in my studio' episode.
ETV's presenter got a little too emotional I think... trying to make news where there is none. A professional outfit would have shut it down quickly and quietly and got on with the job of reporting real news.
ETV=Tabloid journalism at it's worst

Agreed, that chic was blatanlty winding him up for that (as Debb Patta and other journo's do with everyone they interview), he fell for it and made himself and everyone he stands for look like total idiots........... It happens to political figure around the world.

Remember when Deb Patta crapped all over Julius. He never for one second threatened and intimidated her.

Julius did this, however:
Malema kicks out BBC journalist and calls him a bastard

Johannesburg - ANC Youth League president Julius Malema on Thursday verbally sparred with a BBC journalist at a media briefing on Zimbabwe's land reform policy.

He called the reporter a "bastard" and kicked him out of the briefing at Luthuli House in Johannesburg.

According to comments posted on Twitter, the journalist apparently tried to interrupt Malema, who then responded by saying: "This is my house and you behave according to the rules of my house."

"Don't come with that white tendency, not here."

Malema recently returned from a trip to Zimbabwe to study the effects of "nationalisation" in that country.

Malema hailed Zimbabwe's land reform policy as "courageous and militant".

"Land reform in Zimbabwe has been very successful," he said, adding that the controversial programme was a "very correct method".

Malema said violence, however, should never be used to implement policy. He said this before verbally sparring with the journalist.
My advice? Don't stick up for politicians - ever :p

I see the Witness and News24 took the liberty of distorting the facts here:
http://www.news24.com/SouthAfrica/News/AWB-man-causes-chaos-at-TV-studio-20100407

He stood up, ripped off his microphone and threw it aside and told Pheko: "Don't you dare interrupt me."At this point, the host, Chris Maroleng, tried to intervene, but Visagie said, "don't touch me".
Wrong. Chris Maroleng said to Mr Visage and the bodyguard who came to escord Mr Visage off: "if you touch me, you will be in trouble"
Maroleng responded with: "you won't dare touch me in my studio."
it was a response to Mr Visage saying "you touched me..."
Security was brought on set and Visagie started to make his way to the exit.
But he then turned back, pointed at Pheko and said: "I'm not finished with you."
Wrong. Visage never pointed a finger, that was Chris Maroleng who pointed a finger after Mr Visage said "I'm not finished with you"
Why is it that some journalists don't think details are important? Probably because it doesn't serve their purpose - they are biased and airing their point of view instead of facts.

just be thankful that two grown men wasn't touching.... in his studio

E-tv is known for doing things like this .... I've seen it before. They goad someone who is obviously on their shyte-list and see if they can provoke. Most times they do and E-tv loves it because it's sensationalist.

Indeed. There's also an ideological angle to it as well.

.. but banana boy IS bahaving EXACTLY like this with his racist speeches & songs !
Precisely but if the right wing want to assert their superiority and want their own volkstaat because they are better, then they have to behave like men not boys and show that they are indeed superior.

The problem is that in most cases the right wing is always made up of inbred trash. Just look at the movements in the USA all those guys have missing teeth and look like hillbillies and shout white power because I suspect that their "whiteness" is all they got left to hang onto because they are otherwise trash.

The same applies here in SA. The AWB and farmers have asserted how great they are yet they are happy to live in disgusting conditions and drive crappy cars because they choose to do so. Funny enough their behavouir is very much similar to the black people they hate so much and want to be kept separate from.

You don't see people of English people going on like this. They are respectable and quiet and focus on making sure their Iphone has a the latest app while the primitive loosers fight it out in the rural areas over k@k.

The Afrikaaners in particular behave like juvenile spoiled brats who are jealous that they toys have been taken away. Especially the some of the young people who are frustrated by the fact that they can't get easy access to the top jobs and perks so easy like their parents got it. They forget that most of the business in this country is still controlled by Afrikaaners and they do indeed still get access to good positions and jobs through their family and networks and they still command most of the wealth. I just don't get why a guy who father owns a farm and he has a brand new polo or citi golf his father bought cash for him is bitter about BEE and blacks and thinks that he is part of the forgotten men and women of SA. Even if he gets a nice job running his uncles business he is still upset and wants to leave SA or join up with the AWB. WTF?

Actually I can its because he is upset about the fact he can't get to the very top and has to make space in the que for his black brothers too. Its also predjudice plain and simple based upon generations of indoctrination.

I am sorry but Afrikaaners need to get over their pride and self entitlement, just like the racist black people also need to get the chips over their shoulder and stop feeling sorry for themselves. The old generation of black people are so stuck in their traditions and cultures and are also too full of pride that they don't want to vote for anyone else because they are afraid of the white man ruling again and respect the older people who were in the struggle.

Both sides have good and valid points and need to debate it like adults stop thinking they are absolutely right. It takes two to tango. People have to be willing to accomodate eachother because we are all different and it will never work with one group trying to dominate.

Maybe the liberals need to take up arms and round up all the white racists and black racists for a public flogging, because they are doing damage to this amazing country.

This is what the outside world thinks of us.... pathetic !! http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/africa/8603575.stm

Taken from the last paragraph of that article these are words we should all take note of:

There is a Zulu saying here - Isandla sihlamba esinye - it means that a single hand cannot wash itself - it means people need each other and cannot succeed separately.
For the sake of this fragile country, let us hope that is true.

Its also important to take note of the fact that the host was on her left and Visagie her right. Putting the shows host in the middle would've probably prevented this situation if he'd been more forcefull, but I suspect bias from him thats why he allowed her to machine gun him down with questions.

In a heated debate, its easy to spend far too much time on the defensive than on the attack. He should've focused more on keeping calm and throwing her own questions back at her.

If Julius behaved like the white man visagie you lot would not try and defend him.

Just be fair.

Are you kidding me? How old are you?!
Read what is being said, we arent defending Visagie, most of us think he could've acted in a more grown manner, We all clearly state that the problem was not only on his side but on hers and the host. just to make it clear for you since you need to be spoon fed, ALL 3 MEMBERS COULDVE AND SHOULDVE ACTED IN A DIFFERENT WAY, NON THE LESS OF THE OTHERS INTENTIONS. :wtf: typically you instantly think its to do with race, cos he's white and some of us are white, we chose the white, not seeing his wrongdoing? grow up

Also on the comment from metalcore, you are exactly doing and saying the total opposite of what a english person are,in your eyes. "You don't see people of English people going on like this. They are respectable and quiet and focus on making sure their Iphone has a the latest app while the primitive loosers fight it out in the rural areas over k@k." yet you go on about how superior you are? where's the respect in that statement, minding your own business? yes i can see that. And secondly you're white(if not then whatever) if here's a civil war emerging then no one will give a shat on what language you are, you are white, period. if there's a civil war the sides will be according to your skin colour, not the language you speak. And your statement also shows us how arogant you english are. Typical steriotyping afrikaners will lead to afrikaners steriotyping english, which you can see, gets no one nowhere, just as not all blacks are the same, theres a lot of respected black ppl in SA. stop steriotyping. once again, grow up. PS go drown yourself.
