He went on to say that much needed to be done in regards to both gender and race to ensure the country was better equipped to respond to global demands.
There are those "super memory" courses, varieties of "antient" and modern mental enhancement programs...my mom showed me a book that allowed people to see again, simply "exercising" the eyes...The world is a beautiful place. I still get amazed at nature and it's forms.
I feel they should focus more on educating the youth of the nation so that they will have the skills to move the economy forward. If all children can be equally educated (good education) then there will be no need for BEE crap. And people most suited will get the jobs. This will provide all students a fair playing field to compete for jobs and those willing to work hard will prospere, whether or not it represents the demorgraphic of the country is up to them.
Nah, lets just do what we've been doing to other sectors, drop the standards dramatically, and then even lower for certain race groups. That way, we can have great demographic numbers, who cares if the engineers we produce aren't world class.

"A book that allowed people to see again, simply "exercising" the eyes" -> Pure unadulterated horse manure. This kind of hope crushing, money making scam makes me so mad.
But I know you're only joking - you read Supernature at 16 - everyone knows 16 year olds can't read.
