I think Denel's Rheinmetal division has a explosives incinerator. Fireworks should be a piece of cake. compared to that.

Saw a couple of hawkers selling at the robots near Woodmead Makro. On my return, there was a JMPD vehicle driving slowly with 2 officers walking and scanning the plants on the pavement and no sign of the hawkers. Must have chased them and they dumped their fireworks.

Yeap, they do that, also saw the cops just driving by and the hawkers were running and dumping fireworks into the bushes... Doubt the police are actually interested in doing more than scaring these guys a little bit.

KZN not much better ... we have some people who dont know the new year from goodyear .... I suspect they are also the sexual organs of a mountain goat who enjoy scaring off domestic animals with loud bangs ....
