Buy that man a bells!![]()
Most superbikes will do that speed in a heartbeat.
If the road is clear of other vehicles and pedestrians I don't see why not
He's only risking his own life in such a situation.
If in built up area - it's a no-no
Jeez...the crap people get up to. A bike already a coffin on two wheels....at that speed there wont be anything left to put in a coffin me thinks
I'm all for going fast, but do it carefully, guys. Just remember one simple rule, and you'll be fine: everyone on the road is a twat and doesn't have a clue when it comes to driving.
I'e always wondered how they stop someone at the speed?
ODI raceway has 1km drags on occasion. My car reached 216, a skyline reached 298km/h (over 1km!)

What do you drive?
You mean like church bells at his funeral? Or the funeral of the person hits?
Yea bells all round!
I guess that depends how slow your brain is.How would you know that the road is clear? At that speed you wouldn't even have time to register what you're seeing before you hit it.

Must have looots of work done to get that speed in a 1km sprint.
It's had some work, but not lots. In fact it was not running properly that day. I had a restrictive intake (since replaced) and the software that was on there was crap. I've since put a different brand on with much smoother power delivery. Power is now up by 30hp and torque by 80Nm over what it was that day. Mods are intake, 3" freeflow downpipe and software. That's all.
