Article: BMW driver caught at 211 km/h

A 39-year-old man was arrested in the early hours on Sunday morning for speeding on the N1 in Midrand, said Johannesburg metro police.

Chief Superintendent Wayne Minnaar said he was caught driving his BMW 5 series at 211km/h in a 120km/h zone.
 
People tend to drive so much worse at night. Even when travelling at 120km/h at night cars often come flying by at break neck speeds :mad:
 
Luckily my car could never do that. It already shakes wildly at 120km/h. :p

I've been in a car with someone driving 160km/h and a couple of cars went racing past.

That and bar fights. Wtf is up with GP guys down on holiday causing schite when they go out, it's always them. Just yesterday same story, one Gauteng P**s causing schite and spoiled the whole mood in the place while we were trying to watch the game.

Not sure why people drive that fast. Ok I do speed.... but not that excessive. One wrong move and the car is a roll of rubble.

It's not like it was a two way thing either, the harassed guy kept on telling the guy just leave me alone I'm trying to watch the game but no, let me throw his drink on the floor smashing glass everywhere, chuck his cellphone into people, grab him by the shirt and swear like a sailor for everybody to hear and see. Really why? This schite never happens unless there are jhb people down. Is it something in the water up there?

That is the reason why I avoid bars in PTA. You can't have a decent night without having some po3s trying to pick a fight. Especially the steriod monkies, we seem to have gotten a lot of them in recent years. You have okes trying to pick a fight in bars, going around and 'liberting people' (that is what they call beating up innocent people senselessly, they literally try to provoke you).

I've had to defend myself twice in bad situations (I am still doing jui jitsu, but hate fighting). I also never tell people in clubs that I did some sort of martial arts, because then they do try and pick a fight and I can get into deep **** for even trying to neutralize the situation.
