I have considered that; though I prefer to live my life in a real sense - and not rely on a fiduciary company to back me up. I am highly alert while driving, and if I did kill/injure someone, it would definitely be due to an attempted suicide - and in that case I would take the case to the constitutional court. :)

I wanted to share with you my experience of Barcelona last two weeks. I'm shocked at the rude behaviour, bad driving and overcharging by the cab drivers. The high unemployment rate probably contributes to the bahaviour because they all trying to get business.

Maybe, but there are double standards as well. Someone might get away with something small, but another may not.

A friend of mine went for his drivers test 3 times. First time they told him he didn't do his observations thoroughly, second time he was taking too long with he's observations, 3rd time he wasn't checking thoroughly again. I mean wth!!

He took it up with the higher ups, but they told him there's nothing they can do.
 
Well, I tell you what, when I told the guy he could give me a blowjob if he passed me, I was out the car and booked for a new test within minutes.
 
It's the African way and it ain't gonna change soon. If the president can be like that why can't any of the citizens.

Definitely isn't good enough. I wish they'd fail more people for driving slowly without a very good reason, and being nervous or incompetent isn't a valid reason, as well as for pulling away slowly, breaking unnecessarily and so on. Get all the slow, nervous, overly careful drivers off the roads.

K53 is monumentally stupid. The time is long overdue to throw out the K53 idiocy. But both the current and pre-K53 testing was highly inconsistent, and passing could depend on things like the tester's mood.

So white people in other countries learnt this from Africa, even before they'd been to Africa. Interesting.
 
The first time I tried my licence the instructor tried to fail me for "straddling the lane divider" while doing the three point turn. His superior was also testing someone, saw this and kakked him out for it. I still failed later in the test (stopped with a wheel touching the stop line at a stop street) but I've been a cynic ever since.

A guy I work with asked a contact of his to "expedite" his daughers learners test so she could write it as early as possible. A week later his contact simply gave him his daughters learners licence instead of a booking.
 
Passed my drivers test first time in PE, granted I had been behind the wheel since 11 growing up in the Transkei, my brother and I used to deliver wool to Umtata and surrounds when we where teenagers already.

I used to take friends out fishing when we could still drive on the beach that is.
Fondest memory was when I think it was Mitsibishi, was testing their latest 4x4 along the wild coast, the guy driving got stuck about 5 times on a steep embankment, I come along in my dad's hilux and scale the thing first time, we offered to tow the guy up the embankment, look on ou toppies face "priceless".

That's a bit irresponsible. It's called an accident because it's mostly unplanned. Something as simple as a tyre puncture can have devastating effects.

Fake one. Luckily learners are not on the system but lack of a paper trail can probably be traced.
