Yep, M1 south onto the Golden Highway, then exit onto the N1 south.

There's already construction happening on that section of the road, just before the N1S/N12W split

Another alternative is to just keep going on the Golden Highway, and turn left when you get to Lenasia South and catch the Grasmere toll onto the N1S. That's a normal toll and I think it's cheap, like R6.
