And a few years from now they'll demand jobs and blame agents/counter-revolutionary third forces/racists for youth unemployment when in fact it's because no company would want to pay for the services of someone so incompetent they can't even pass our ridiculously easy matric standards.

The ANCYL should insist that teachers work through the holidays to make up for lost time and perhaps they could insist that exams get pushed out to be written in December.

Not ideal but I really feel for those kids who are the victims of government incompetence.
 
Why the **** should teachers work through the holiday and exams be pushed out? This is crazy man! Its not the teacher's fault! This is the fault of corruption and useless management of staff that only line their own pockets!

The sad thing is, these learners' parents will still vote for the ANC even when it was them that created this ****up!
 
It's a ANC conspiracy to keep them uneducated so they keep their votes. Anyone with a matric or better education should know better then to vote for the cANCer.

I feel for the kids, but it's "their" government doing this to them and they should react to this and think about their future votes.

IMO the whole ANC system sucks and anyone in the government with a ANC badge is there for themselves and do not regard themselves as PUBLIC SERVANTS!!!!!

Even sadder is the fact that there are people who think because the ANC has "some" good people in it , that's a valid reason to still vote for them.
That's what one forum member typed up on this forum , cant remember exact post.

Thre isn't enough time left to assume that all the teaching can be done in the 'normal' school time. I have not once said that it is a teachers fault and I do believe that they should be adequately compensated. Or what do you suggest? That we hold them all back a year and say tough noogies?
 
Dedicate the next six months to political education. Real political education. Then start again next year. Begin a generation of learners with at least the skill to put an x in a block that doesn't have an ANC flag next to it.

Wishful thinking I know.
 
This is why I choose not to have a retiremunt fund or long term investment in this country... I don't have much hope for the future generation.
 
ANC screws their own comrades in the arse. All I can do is laugh at them.

Yeah but problem is, it's June. 5 months of learning out the window. They will never ever catch up. A lot of schools can't even finish the syllabus in the allotted time ANYWAY...
 
Grade 10 they could probably finish. Grade 11 and Matric they have absolutely no hope in hell to finish in 6 months.

Don't forget, chances are their foundations are already shaky. A bright kid who did well in grade 9 could probably manage grade 10 in 6 months.
A semi-literate who has been passed because "no child is kept back" and got 35% for everything in grade 9 has no chance at all.
