If you look at other well known celebs they still talk proudly about their country of birth, but I've never really heard Charlize talk like that. I could be wrong though.

I have seen her talk in Afrikaans on the Ellen DeGeneres show before though, so maybe she its not ashamed of being Afrikaans.

She speaks highly of SA, well what she remembers of SA at least. She is the first to say that she hasn't lived here in an age though so is hardly an expert. I just recall being in awe of more than her tits the last time I watched an interview with her...

I thought that was quite funny. Some of us a are bit sensitive. Need to go out in the sun a bit more
