Before 1917, the jewish population in Palestine lived in peace and harmony with the rest of them for a long time. No massive walls, no removing people from their homes and demolishing them. Once the Zionists decided they wanted to take control, we all see what happened. The jews have a right to live there. As do the Africans and everyone who was there before. Do the Zionists really NEED to uproot everyone and shove them behind a wall and not let them move around the entire region freely?
Come now, lets put the whole jew vs arab arguement away and look at it straight. These poor civilians living in Israel are suffering the frustration of the victims of the Zionists.
That's the real enemy here. The desire of Zionists to have control of the entire region at any costs. If they want a homeland that's fine. The US are such good mates, why don't they carve out a nice section of Texas and hand it over to them. Why do the innocent people who were living there peacefully for so long have to suffer just to fulfill this desire?

I'm not even in favour of a two state solution.

I don't recall anyone suggesting we can divide SA into an area for whites and the rest for blacks.

Because nobody wanted the jews thus USA wasnt going to give them a homeland. Sad that there was peace and jews allowed to own land under pre-israel. Now zionists dispossess palestinians.

Would not have happened if the palestinians did not become suicide bombers to get to their imaginary virgins! If you cannot control the criminal elements between you throw them all in jail!

Lol, I always tease my Atheist friends with Jewish family, (yes, I've actually worked on a kibbutz or two in Israel for a few years, so I think I can claim a bit more knowledge on the situation) hopefully this might enrage a few of you: Why is it that for a country that did so much against Jewish people, Jews always seem to prefer to drive German cars?

Secondly. Religion is wrong and at the core of this conflict. If both sides gave up their misguided faiths, they'd realise they're both human, forget the hate their Bubbe(Grandmother in Yiddish) or Yaddah(Grandmother in Arabic) spewed about hating the opposite side, and they could live in peace, and actually be friends. And yes... there are people who have gotten over this.

Neither am I. That would be an injustice too.
However, at this stage I believe it is the only possible solution. The Zionists have grabbed on too tight, sunk in their claws and will never relinquish all that they have stolen.
I fear most for the women and children on both sides who have to suffer because of it. For the sake of sparing their lives I think that solution should be considered.
However even as we speak, more and more settlements are being built. How then can anybody expect any solution at all?

What a non sequitur.
The comment you reply to referred to the peace that existed before the forced existence of Israel, and the fact that their mates in the US did not want them to have a homeland within their borders. Suicide bombers come nowhere in the picture.
Violence from the palestinians came after the Zionists took their land. They had no reason to blow themselves up before that. It continues because the Zionists refuse to give it back, instead they steal more and continue to detain, torture, and bomb. Who in their right mind would tolerate that without resisting? Would you?

Ironically, the jewish faith does not condone what the Israeli's are doing. The aggression is born purely from the Zionist ideology which is far removed from actual judaism. There are many Orthadox Jews who support this, and who are vocal against Israel. For a long time, everybody living in that area lived together in peace and harmony, Jews, Christians, Muslims, arab and non arab. And then the Zionists got their desire gift wrapped by the UN to form their homeland, that's when it all went to pot.
It is a huge misnomer that muslims hate jews. This is not true at all. The faiths are so closely related, and arabs and jews are technically both from the same people. Under strict Islamic law it would be forbidden to oppress them or any other faith living inside an Islamic state, sadly this isn't always adhered to. The only thing muslims have a problem with here are Zionists who oppress, occupy and kill the palistinian people. And its not just Muslims who have a problem with them. Food for thought.
