Article: Israel attacks barbaric: ANC

I would go as far as to say Hitler did not ask for war either based on his declaration which was skewed in the allied press back then

You must be exercising hyperbole regards the WW2 breakout.

There are so many unbalanced opinions on this topic, the religious extreme views seem to be pushed into the press as they presumably make better headlines. The wider role of mostly Arab countries surrounding these areas is not mentioned. Jordan's grab of the majority of the british mandate land for a start goes without a mention and the role of the surrounding nations is conveniently sidelined as tensions in these specific territories simmer.

There is so much intolerance. From my reading I believe the occupants of the gaza strip and the west bank face just as poor treatment from neighbouring countries and have just as much historical guilt to place on the role of neighbouring countries, but religious hate speech seems to be a trump card for all and a rallying point for both sides.

I see either a single state with religious and social freedoms (de facto ruling out non-secular options like a sharia based state or an orthodox rabbinical state) or two states. History reinforces the fall out of a split; see what happened in India/Pakistan (aggression initiated on the side of mostly the Muslim populace led from tensions to civil war with many more killings in the opening weeks than the whole I/P conflict). There seems to be no simple solution here. One can only pray for peace among these people and hope for common sense to prevail on both sides.

The single state solution will not be accepted by the Jews. They will be the minority and the current Palestinian population growth rate will only worsen that situation.

Two state solution seems to be the only viable one. Then there is the alternative nobody likes to talk about; Jordan ,which has a Palestinian majority, should absorb the Palestinian Arab populations of the West Bank and Gaza. Israel then absorbs Gaza and the West Bank and any Palestinian Arabs that choose to stay in Israel should become Israeli citizens.

I think the israili invaders should gtfo from palestine and go live in antartica.

LOl what a laugh, who the ***** cares what the ANC has to say about the middle east conflict, you are clueless!

they should leave all the infrastructure and leave, this will atleast make up for some of the hideous war crimes that they commit

200 BC - The Seleucids
300 BC - Empire of Alexander
500 BC - The Babylonians and then the Medo-Persians.
600 BC - The Kingdom of Judea
1000 BC - The Kingdom of David
Pre-1000 BC - The Canaanites lived in "city states"

You wanna give it back to the Canaanites?
Good luck finding one! ;)
I found them!!!

It seems Tunisians and Maltese have a claim to Israel.

Lol,I believe there were some who wanted Israel to be in a part of Kenya initially and some people did move there but were eaten by lions etc...guess Antartica will have a polar bear issue.

In all seriousness imagine if Israel was in Kenya, would that be a good or bad thing?Hmm....

The land issue in Palastine (let's take the byzantine borders for example as that is a major stem of the term "Palastine") that the caliphate implosion caused is that private ownership was extremely rare at the time, focusing primarily on something akin to short term limited leases. The negotiated deals that were proposed (be they under british mandate which stopped negotiating after acts of terror, UN pre- and post WW2 or later, eg Oslo) were never even remotely accepted (nee, they were met with a war with a view of capturing more land but achieved the opposite, forfeiting control over much land in the process) by the current refugee status self-appointees for want of a more neutral term. After such a long term the land claim issue is extremely vague and has little legal basis left due to the decades of development since. It appears as if a negotiated settlement is the only way, but the parties (and especially the extreme end of the spectra on either side) actively impede this.

The Refugee issue is a bit odd in that the countries that participated in the war on the newly founded Israel took their land losses but left the loosing parties with the now less space and displaced the Jewish populace in their own countries, many of whom settled in the newly founded state.

What is now Syria, Jordan and Egypt are the main parties at play here with the East Bank of the Jordan halving the territory that was under British mandate before they left. They didn't assimilate the populace that was displaced as a result of their combined aggression and share the burden of guilt at least equally if not more with Israel, playing openly with the destruction of Israeli presence much alike what Falcon786 and similar are proposing here in stead.

Don't care what the ANC has to say about world politics, but with reference to the 'hundreds' of rockets from Hamas and the disparity in firepower, has anyone seen what the Iron Dome does to protect Israel and the phone app called Red Alert.

Reasons why there has been no casualties on the Israle side.

I weep for this country. Some of its residents are really stupid. What must be going through your mind to post a pic like that on Facebook and under your real name?

Because maybe she waas abused as a kid? Maybe she has some issue like she was dropped on er head as a baby? I can almost guarantee you she has some deep rooted mental issues caused by some life experience.
