Article: Julius Malema expelled from the ANC

ANC Youth League president Julius Malema has been expelled from the ANC, the party's national disciplinary committee (NDC) chairman Derek Hanekom said on Wednesday evening.

"Cde Julius Malema is expelled from the ANC," the NDC said in a statement.

Malema could appeal this sanction within 14 days.
 
how exactly is he allowed to appeal this, which was I believe the result of an appeal itself??

It's a do over, he's allowed to appeal because the previous sanction was effectively voided by it being sent back for mitigation & aggravation of sentence.
 
With Julius Malema out of the ANC, it should hopefully help defragment the party and its Lemmings. Now to build a future.

People with JuJu's mindset and apparent support amongst the ranks of his Cadres is a danger to the future of SA.

His expulsion would hopefully see him taking the disillusioned ranks of the ANCYL (which seems to be a majority by virtue of media coverage) to a sepratist political party and hopefully have an implosion of the current, but more importanlty the future vote of the current majority.

Now is the time for DA and opposition to show their worth and build towards a proactive, corrupt free, holistic, hopefully honest and realist governing entity.

I told a friend this, sent him a link (he didn't read it) and :rofl: at first he believed me. I thought it's not out yet?. No, I was kidding about the DA bit. But the ANC did kick his sorry ass out

Ok, well he's going to appeal to the NDCA again, this time on the actual sentence...

So he's still the ANCYL President, but he has a massive big "GUILTY" cloud over his head atm... all thats left to decide is the sentence, and I have a feeling the NDCA will uphold the new sentence.
 
well done to the anc on finally showing some leadership.
this had the potential to become very nasty.

Just answer me this. Do you think they finally took action against him because of his hateful speech and blatant racism OR because he stepped on JZ's toes one too many times..?

I think JZ got tired of the nightmares where Julius pushed him off his chair and took over his presidency.

it's irrelevant to me, i never said that they would get rid of him at all, i've simply stated over and over that we're far from a Zim 2.0 ;) looks like the situation is once again sorting itself out. i can see at least 2 conspiracy theories being shot down and nose bombing right now.
