Article: Lance Armstrong Oprah Winfrey interview a hit

Oprah Winfrey's much-anticipated interview with Lance Armstrong was seen by a total of 4.3 million viewers in back-to-back airings Thursday night on OWN.

But the interview with the disgraced cycling champion drew only 3.2 million viewers for its first airing, an audience that fell short of OWN's most-watched program: an interview Winfrey conducted with the family of Whitney Houston last March following the singer's death the previous month.

And what amazes me is people still support this liar and cheat?

People support and defend liars, cheats and douches all the time. GW Bush, Zuma, Steve Jobs, Pastor Ted, you name it.

That guy did not say anything we don't already know. He's holding back information and his whole body language & mannerisms say he has zero remorse.

Never liked the guy, always though he was an arrogant ****.

He cannot tell it all. Too much at stake. Too many powerful people and companies involved.

One example: France. TDF is massive for France. This thing can hurt the race ... and so hurt France. French ambassador at the White House in a jiffy ... "Put a lid on this thing!"

No way will Lance give us more than "I was wrong. I don't want to talk about other people/organisations". His own lawyers - and those of many others - will make sure he only says what is adequate in their opinion.

It is going to take a very brave person with very good connections to open it all up in time to come.

Confession is good for his soul but not his career.

Watching it now. He seems sorry for being caught not for doping. Didn't seem it was tell-all. Obviously he couldn't implicate other people in it.

Ha ha, yeah, and those that don't cycle apparently have zero understanding of sarcasm either...
