Article: Man arrested for driving too slow

Anyone doing less than 80km in the fast lane should be fined at the very least. Countless times I have nearly rear ended people doing this in the fast last. You almost want to pull them from the car and slap them. There is a slow lane for a reason!

This goes for those idiots who think it's okay to merge onto the highway from an onramp at 40km or there about!

On topic to this story - headline is misleading. He was arrested due to DUI and was pulled over due to driving so slowly in the fast lane.

part of your driving test. points are deducted for driving to slow, you can fail because of this.

I failed a drivers test because of this very thing. Maintained an average speed of 50km/h as per my driving instructor's advice; did everything right on the road except for the speed. Examiner's words "Due to your speed, you posed a danger to other road users."

Sensationalist headline. He was pulled over for driving too slow, he was arrested for being four times over the legal limit.

I did my license and only did 30 to 40, unless you were on the highway those speeds are acceptable.

Maybe it was Tony Yengeni's cousin. :D I heard he got arrested again for driving his Maserati while under the influence.
