The release of a report on the security upgrades at President Jacob Zuma's private homestead in Nkandla, KwaZulu-Natal, has been delayed, the Special Investigating Unit (SIU) said on Friday.

"The unit has until recently indicated that it was hopeful that its report... will be completed by the end of June," said spokesman Boy Ndala.

The report on what actually happend is done. I think the report on how Zuma can get away with it is going to take a little more time.

So I don't think anybody can fault the SIU for this delay.
