Whoonga? Is this a real thing? It sounds more like some cellphone marketing campaign.

But reading the Wikipedia entry, it reminds me more of Jenkem

Customers will be glad to hear that they can now enjoy their Favourite Whoonga(Heroin and rat poisen) without ARVs...

Or more likely it was an urban legend all along. The whole story has been long on wild claims and short on verified facts.

There's no evidence it contains rat poison either.

Actually one of the common side effects of the Efavirenz (Stocrin) drug is known to be weird dreams and drunken like symptoms. Hence patients are always advised to take it just before bedtime. I wouldn't be surprised if druggies have experimented with it.

Zuma needs to listen to the users, not the experts.

ARV's are not always part of the mix but many acknowledge that it is used as an additive.

Dealers use whatever is available and cheap to cut the drugs. Anyone claiming it contains this or does not contain that is talking BS because it differs widely.
