Don't try and explain to marine why belief in GOD is not the same as gravity.

He doesn't grasp that there is no scientific evidence to support a GOD where as we know there is gravity, we may be wrong but it exists as you say. God you cannot hear, see and there is nothing that actually makes you think it exists.

It's like marine saying yes we know pluto is there but we don't know much about pluto so it's the same as god. Pathetic haha but heck if people want to believe in a power that has never shown a sign of existence each to their own.

Marine is a bit chicken with his views at times but i think he believes obama is the anti christ and i also believe obama is a liar and cannot be trusted. He will lead us into a war with iran and the end of the world. If the prophecies about an anti christ ever prove to be true obama will the anti christ.

Marine could never admit he thinks along similar lines.

to be honest, there isn't much of a difference between Obama and Romney's policies. Romney governed Massachusetts with more or less the same national policies that Obama tried to implement on an national scale. Basically an increase in social spending overall. There isn't much of a difference between parties in this case.

The sad thing is that congress is still being bought and sold by Goldman Sachs and the Koch brothers, Goldman Sachs contributed to both the Obama and the Romney campaign significantly, I am really not optimistic of the outcome, regardless who wins.

Have to agree here. Both parties seem to be going in the same general direction. I'm looking forward to the day when a state or states decide to secede, now that would be interesting to watch.

That isn't quite as crazy as it sounds. Long term it seems to me that its an inevitability really, because of the racial/culture demographic shift which is beginning to take place. Already the Latino population has grown into a massive voting block, with minorities out baby making the white population this year. Eventually this will manifest in the whites losing all power to dictate the political landscape which will see them wanting to self govern at some point. It'll probably take 50 years, but it'll happen.
