Article: President can't be prosecuted: Zuma

Cretin.

Frankly, the higher up a person is, the more transparent and accountable they should be.

I ****ing hate politicians.

Oink, TIA... and Welcome to 1984!

You people should learn more about the world. Many countries have laws that prevent the head of state from being prosecuted, for the very reasons given. Italy and the USA are prime examples.

Whatever the reality, I said 'should be'. Am I wrong?

We are quite aware of what goes on in other countries thanks.... no need for the attempted lesson.

We still don't think it is right or ethical. Nobody is above the law.

When I say TIA... I mean it is no surprise that a man here (especially an ANC man) would use the law to hide behind.

stfu about racism thats almost all i read while scrolling down this thread lol

ill sum it up for you boykies > all politicians are the worst. end of story.

instead of moaning and trolling , why dont we create a coalition front ? that way you beat the vote % by far and then anc has to step down. then we can really call this danmed but beautiful country a rainbow nation . all together now ...

If you included me in that statement, I would like to make it clear I was being facetious RE the bumpkin who made a comment about black politicians feeling entitled.

I concur.
There has to be a better system than getting a bunch of suck-ups to see how many people they can deceive to give them power.

But, remember, he can be prosecuted once he is no longer in that seat.

Mugabe!

It is so strange, in my 1st year of law we learnt the following as the rule of law:
1. Nobody is above the law

In practice though it works otherwise....Just something to think about, while the president is busy off making 23 babies, who is running the country?

If he's guilty the law should take its course. Cannot hide behind your office door.

I'd be quite fine with V.P. Kgalema Motlanthe as acting while they wrap him up in court for the next 4 years.

Perhaps then we might get service delivery?

The main reason why it will never even make court is that it will have devastating effects on our economy, the same reason why the rape trial kinda disappeared as well. It is of national interest that he is not trialed. Unfair but true.

Well then impeach the corrupt idiit and then prosecute him.

Jeez, it's not that hard.
Why not send him straight to jail. You have already found him guilty of corruption. Presumably you have the tested evidence to support this stance?
Bunch of hypocrites!
