Residents in the Tshwane metro area were on Wednesday urged to avoid low-lying areas, rivers and to drive cautiously.

Tshwane emergency services spokesman Johan Pieterse said while his department was not involved in any rescues and there were no immediate reports of flooding, his department was on high alert.

Centurion, Garsfontein, Hatfield, Silverton all flooded.
Drive very very slowly. Atleast 10 - 15cm water in sporadic areas.
And to the 4x4 drivers - :zap!

I just hope the rain subsides when I go back to wits... Every time there's heavy heavy rain, Barry Hertzog floods.
