Article: Proteas' coach would not have done anything differently

Proteas' coach Corrie van Zyl apologised on Sunday for disappointing fans but said, with hindsight, he would not have done anything differently and he took the right team to India.

"I don't think we needed anyone else there. I stand by what I said before we left for the World Cup -- for those conditions, we had the right XV," Van Zyl told reporters at a Johannesburg airport hotel on Sunday morning.
 
Yes,the perfect XV-a harmonous blend of batters, bowlers and chokers.
 
The team taken to India was unbalanced. No proper swing bowler. No big six hitter batsman, just a bunch of shot players. An out of form opening batsman combination. A new and inexperienced wicket keeper to proof himself at the pressure games of the world cup. A good team none the less.But that team would be more suited to test matches, not a one day competition.
