Article: The world is getting warmer

The world is getting warmer, as greenhouse gases reach historic highs and Arctic sea ice melts, making 2013 one of the hottest years on record, international scientists said Thursday.

The annual State of the Climate report 2013 is a review of scientific data and weather events over the past year, compiled by 425 scientists from 57 countries.
 
If only. It looks like a frigging cold weekend lined up for us :/
 
yeah the record lows are a sure sign of heating :D

I have a feeling that the damage has been done and it is too late to stop it now..
 
I guess most of the civilised world is just not located where these supposed high temperatures are. :rolleyes:
 
What we should do is compress the co2 and add it to all our drinks etc so as to lower the amount in the atmosphere...

Yep pretty uncivilised out here in Aus

but seriously, May was the hottest on record here, and hot in Cape Town then too. Freezing with cold wind here in Sydney, again like cape town...but i guess people only have short term memories when it comes to temp, they cant emember how hot it was,only hpw cold it is right now
