I don't believe absolutely anything the government tell us. I'm not in a position to argue against them though, considering I have no sound logical reason to do so. Emotion and bias are not reasons. Now if you've found major statistical problems with census' in SA or identified fraud and corruption I could understand your argument a little better. Right now though you're just arguing about it because you don't like the ANC. Again, epic thought process...:rolleyes:

And the government have these documentaions for Illegal immigrants as well ?? Me not think so.. Fact -They do not know how many illegals are living in SA
 
Statistics aren't an exact science by definition, I'm pretty sure the chaps at StatsSA have formulas and averages to work from as well. If some people want to believe these averages are a lot more wider than others, then leave them to their misconceptions.

What source does the CIA World Factbook use? Satellite technology?

Of course they don't know. No country knows how many illegals there are. It is the nature of illegals a.k.a undocumented... people can only estimate and by their nature estimations have margins of error of varying degrees.

You'd think this stuff is obvious.

Not only did he just insinuate that he is more right because I'm not white/suggested I'm not South African for the third time in these forums, he is also more right that DJ.. because he is not an atheist. He picks out TAX, out of "IDs, births/deaths registrations, payroll numbers" to argue census numbers are wrong, because only half of SA pays tax (marine1 Statistic TM).

So sad.

DJ & boramk understand all that. They know all the numbers are estimates, even the local numbers are estimates (within reason). As I said you should go over to PD and represent creationists in rza's absence.

No, I'm very comfortable. You see, I've got this thing called a memory, and it tells me its the 3rd time you have brought up my ethnicity as a polemic for your argument for why you are correct or more correct than I am. If you don't see the prejudice in that than maybe I'm just paranoid.

The census attempts to count as many people as possible. Of course it will never count absolutely everyone, however that's no reason to conclude that there must be an additional 5 million illegal immigrants roaming the streets. That's akin to stating that because not all bird species have been identified, there must be 20 billion more birds on this planet than we think. Because I say so...

Birds don't care whether you count them or not. Illegal immigrants do...
Likewise the people providing them with jobs/housing will also lie to the census people.
Now I don't believe that there will be an 10 million+ more Illegals than what the census estimates , but a 2 - 4 million figure won't supprise me.
