Pictures more people on all fours crawling around the zoo :p

First problem is more people on the ground looking for the snake.

That's gonna be a awesome Easter egg hunt.

I don't want to be the one looking for that snake. I'll be seeing snakes in my peripheral vision for weeks, not to mention being utterly paranoid.

As much as I don't mind snakes, knowing that there's a big, mean venomous one slithering about... *shudder*

Was really funny this morning on the radio the spokes person from the Zoo trying to confince people that a black mamba isnt an aggressive snake and that the reason for it being classified as so dangerous is just because its venom. While encouraging people to still come to the Zoo.

I am sorry dude - there is now way in hell I am visiting that place.

From personal experience his statement is BS.

Well, if I was the Zoo, I will have a "Spot-the-Black-Mamba" competition with prize money. Entry fee is just the cost to enter the Zoo.

One of the few creatures Steve Irwin was afraid of, so yep, not aggressive at all O_O

Maybe they meant it's not aggressive because it's domesticated.

You are such a jester.

I have seen how a 50cm black mamba behaves. Do not trust that lil baby....

No fscking ways will a 2m one be trusted.

I've been to a number of Zoos as well as reptile parks in SA. Every single time (Pta Zoo included) I have seen snake enclosures with lamps on and no snake to be seen inside. I have always assumed that the enclosure is being cleaned or unoccupied or something like that. This, however, makes one wonder...
