Fiery unidentified flying objects over the Free State have left star gazers puzzled, the Volksblad newspaper reported on Thursday. Riaan van Greuning, of the Mpumalanga hamlet of Eloff near Delmas, said that on Sunday night at around 10pm he saw a strange phenomenon while travelling in the Harrismith area and took photographs of what looked like fireballs.

Saw a similar picture over the sea of UFO's which turned out to be oil refineries
Was like this but from an aerial view
Other possibilities are flares at night
Would love to see the video of the UFO's moving etc

I doubt its a oil refinery, ever seen an oil refinery at night they really well lit up, besides even if they put of the lights (which I highly doubt for safety reasons) the flare headers (the pipes that lead to the flare) should still be visible
tho u may be on to something regarding those type of flares
