Article: Unemployment 'virtually unchanged': Stats SA

The results showed employment contracted by 0.7 percent or 86,000 jobs between the second and third quarters of 2010. The number of discouraged work seekers increased 4.9 percent or 95,000 people

So I’m right that 86 000 people lost their jobs and 95 000 stopped looking for employment?
These ( 95000)were part of the unemployment stats for last quarter.
That means that the unemployment rate shows that 9000 people joined the unemployment group not 86 000?
Because being a non work seeker does not qualify you as part of the unemployed.
That means we are stagnant... but only if you look at it From this side.. because the number would be bigger if you include the non employment seekers?

Does my question make sense?

Go take a look at the numbers... 40% Employed over the population ratio... is that 60% unemployed/lazy/unable?

Just plain incompetent, but thats apartheids fault, of course. If its in their culture to sit on their naught and feel entitled to free housing, water and electricity AND be provided jobs, we need to respect that culture, how could imperial colonists understand the struggle they have been/are going through.
