lol, the guy releases a ton of military secrets and betrays his trust to the US Military, and then he complains cos they treated him a little bit badly!
What the hell did he expect would happen? Did he think they would promote him? Invite him to the Cabinet War room for tea?
What a baby, man the hell up! This guy should have never made soldier in the first place.
If he really thought that the information was worth being exposed to the public (and maybe it was), then he should be fully willing to take the fallout from leaking it!![]()
Or how about he receive a fair trial like everyone else is meant to get, in order to ascertain his guilt or innocence?
Dude, this is the army, there is no such thing as a fair trial in any army in any country around the world.
They own his ass, and he is lucky they haven't put him up against a wall and shot him, cos they would be fully entitled to do so.![]()
I don't understand why this is considered normal, or true...

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Uniform_Code_of_Military_Justice
People in the military are governed by a different set of laws to civilians.
They don't necessarily enjoy all the same protections that civilians do.
I know that, however, there is a great deal of comment by the defense that this trial is not adhering to the (military) rules, this article is one example of that.
It's not an excuse that the military can be unfair just because they are the military.
All the more reason why Bradley Manning should be profoundly glad!![]()
Huh?
I mean he should be glad that the trial is not following normal military procedure.
Even though it is under the Uniform Military Code of Justice, he has been allowed a lawyer and the government have already said they would not impose the Death Penalty even though he is charged with "aiding the enemy".
It's always a good thing when you find out you won't be put to death!![]()
So they can be unfair, if they claim they're being nice?
I think there's just a fundamental difference in how we view these things.
I don't have much more to say at this stage - Don't know enough about the trial at this point.
