Article: Vote EFF to stop corruption: Malema

Economic Freedom Fighters leader Julius Malema on Friday told residents of Madibeng Local Municipality the only way to stop corruption was to vote for his party.

"The only solution to the problem is putting an 'X' next to the Economic Freedom Fighters," he said.

Whats even funnier is that he will probably get votes. He wont win. Maybe not even beat the DA. But the votes will be enough to make the ANC pay attention. Enough to force the ANC into policies which have short-term gains, but carry a high long term cost to the countries growth. You can make fun of this guy, but he is going to cause a lot of damage.

The EFF doesn't care what white folks think of them. In fact, Malema is probably counting on pissing off as many whites as he can. And he can be sure that this will work for him.

Because, while South Africa is divided along the lines of the "have's" and the "have not's", it still very much divided along racial lines as well. And this plays directly into his hands. He is counting on it.
 
You guys laugh and think it's funny but at the moment Julius is the champion political player. He might not win them all but many idiots are falling for his false promises. EFF might just get some seats....

We should not call people idiots for voting differently to what we do. Different people have different priorities and requirements in terms of a political party they will vote for.
