Article: We want an e-toll solution: Motlanthe

The best possible solutions needed to be explored for the implementation of the Gauteng Freeway Improvement Project (GFIP), Deputy President Kgalema Motlanthe said in Johannesburg on Friday.

"There should be no overburdening of poor people with added cost," Motlanthe said in opening remarks at a meeting between the inter-ministerial committee on the GFIP and the Congress of SA Trade Unions.

Easy ! Cancel e-tolls and scrap the towers.

They are all suffering from historical cost syndrome.

If you have made a mistake / (been corrupted), you must just swallow it and move on, it cannot be allowed to influence making the correct decision.

According to OUTA they did not do this properly before they started building.

Why ? Who knows, nepotism, incompetence and corruption come to mind.

"There should be no overburdening of poor people with added cost,"

Didn't think this when implementing and now you trying to be the good guy's. Do your jobs properly and cut out corruption and pilferage and then the state would be able to absorb these costs easily.

Okay we plug up this hole and solve the e-toll issue, then we can move on to the water problem, then let's get down to fixing the Eskom debacle.

Did I mention that SABC is hond k@k yet we still have to pay TV licenses?

Oh and then we have Telkom and SAA ...

I think I see a pattern - everything government touches turns to s*** :).

So what we really need, if we're to get to the root of the problem, is a government solution.

we need a healthcare solution.
We need an education solution
We need a solution to get rid of the ANC that is the solution we need.

An solution will present itself once the ANC is not in control anymore.

Damn that rascist solution for not wanting to help the ANC...
