Article: Why do you hate Blacks so much, Zille asked

Western Cape premier Helen Zille was asked in the provincial legislature why she hated black people so much, Beeld reported on Friday.

Speaker Richard Majola banned ANC MPL Patrick McKenzie from asking Zille on Thursday: "Premier, why do you hate black people so much?"

Dumb fsck. She's the only person in parliament who is not a racist. The ANC is pathetic. Glad the speaker acted accordingly.

It is terrible how everything turns on colour. We really ought to be moving on to other issues in SA.

But that would allow people to start focussing on how badly the country is being run, which could possibly result in the ANC being voted out and we simply can't have that!

but if we do, then that will mean politicians will actually have to do some work to get votes ....
if you look at it from the politician viewpoint, it is the best strategy for them to stay in power ....
while it is tearing this country apart, they only see whats best for them :(

The serious issues that South Africa is facing are basically poverty, unemployment, inequality, and high levels of crime. Now how many of those can be addressed without mentioning colour. Whether you like it or not, the socio-economic problems in SA are invariably interlinked with one's skin colour.

Her comment is quite correct

"All they're doing is making sure that people continue to hate each other so that they can carry on winning elections," she said.

Ah yes, the context defense...

She said her words were being twisted, and that this was a clear example of how obsessed with race the ANC was.

IMO, she is at the very least guilty of a shocking level of insensitivity in the way she addresses certain issues and as JungleBoy pointed out, the socio-economic challanges ARE race linked at the end of the day. That's the reality of it all...

Usual apologists sticking up for the race card playing ANC ....... take off your rose tinted glasses sox and gang, it helps ;)

It's funny how many anc idiots forget that Zille was involved in being against apartheid.

So her "struggle credentials" make her beyond reproach for statements SHE made and subsequently apologised for?

BS.

The cANCer stays in power by vilifying whites. Blacks seem to be poor the world over whether there was apartheid or not.

Oh the ignorance in this post...

Yes, VJB, we all know that history has shown over the centuries that Black people has been treated SO "fairly" the world over"

Not sure why she apologized for the statements because there was NOTHING wrong with it.

Does an apology not imply that SHE thinks she MAY have been wrong for those statements?

Or are you and I working off a different definition of an "apology"? ;)
